Jari, our movie producer friend from Sweden, arranged for us to visit a private college that provides education free of charge for the children of local indigenous families. Most of the students are the first in their family to have any education.
As we arrived at the college, Charlie noticed their vision on the entrance.
We did not expect to see this type of education. This is not typical of any schools we have seen on our trip.
When we met with the Prinicpal, the IT person, and the English teacher, and introduced ourselves as educators and gave them an overview of our educational beliefs, they were very excited to share their story.
The Principal called in the Board of Directors to meet us and while we we interviewing the principal they gave Jane a tour of the College.
Charlie was asked to address the teachers at the end of the school day.
All we can say is WOW!!
