The question we ask ourselves at
the beginning of summer is, "Where do we want to travel to this winter and
how many weeks do we want to be gone?"
After tossing around the names of a few
countries we decided to spend some time in India and would travel for 10 weeks. We
have spent the last seven months planning the trip.
We started by tracking airline ticket
prices in June and purchased them in August. Once we had the tickets we started
planning our itinerary.
We read many blogs on India from travelers,
looked at the kind of tours offered in India, and made a list of the things we
would like to see and events we wanted to attend. We purchased a map of India to identify the
location of interesting places to visit and began to map out our journey.
Thus our journey begins.
